OLIVER WOOLLEY

Oliver is Founder Director of Envestors Limited, as well as an Advisor to the UK India  Business Angel Network (UKIBC) and Executive Director of the British Business Angels Association (BBAA).  He holds an MBA from Imperial College Management School in London where he lectures occasionally on entrepreneurship.  After university in Bristol , Oliver decided not to become an accountant, but instead raised private equity and bank debt to start his own venture in the food industry. In 1997 he sold the business and moved into the world of early-stage investing and fundraising. Oliver is based in London, but travels to India regularly. 

DK CHAUDHURI

DK has been an experienced investor and board advisor to a number of early-stage technology companies. He sits on the advisory board of the UK India Business Council (UKIBC) advises the Government of West Bengal on a regular basis. For close to eight years DK was the global CEO of Skytech Solutions, which provided comprehensive IT solutions and services to the global transportation industry.  SkyTech had scaled to seven offices all over the world under his leadership and was involved in  prestigious software projects like the Guangjhou airport and the Beijing Olympic airport  jointly with Unisys Inc. In 2007, DK took a break from his corporate postion and worked in the rural and marginalised hilly  areas of northeast India and also joined the board of non-profit organisations. When he was back to the corporate world in 2008 he was involved with several start-ups in the area of skills training, telecom, energy ,education and  IT where he advises and sits on their board. DK has a Masters in Business administration , a postgraduate diploma in Operations Research and a B.S  in Physics.

JOYDEEP ROY

Joydeep has been a PR & Communications Specialist with around 25 years of multi-functional & diverse work experience. Currently his focus is on providing Advisory services to his clients - nationally and globally. He runs the local Chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) in Kolkata, India. EO provides the opportunity to connect with dynamic and successful entrepreneurs from all over the world – leveraging their connections to engage in meaningful ventures.

He established Pathway Consulting in 2008 to provide PR & Corporate Advisory Services to both domestic and international companies. As Advisor to several Kolkata based Business Conglomerates and Trade Associations, Joydeep uses his vast experience and understanding of ground realities, markets, etc. to chalk out relevant activities. Joydeep holds an MA in Public Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Diploma in Industrial Psychology, among others. He is a Member of several Chambers of Commerce / Professional bodies – including the British Business Group, Panelist in one of the Top 20 B Schools in India for selection of MBA students.
